A Very few of our Club Members have voted thus far in the May 22 Republican Primary Run-off election. The runoff between Jim Pikl and Randy Johnson for Justices on the 5th Court of Appeals is very important.
This runoff is a low turn-out race and should be decided by Collin County voters, not by Dallas County voters. Your vote will make a difference.
As an example of how important votes are in a low turn-out election, this year’s May 5th San Angelo ISD $149 million bond election was decided by a margin of two votes (3,051 Against vs 3,049 For).
So please stop by the Lovejoy ISD Administration buildingbetween 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM Wed, Thurs, or Friday this week or next Tuesday May 22 and vote in this run-off. There is virtually no one standing in line to vote; so, it will only take 5 minutes for you to vote.
Thanks,
