Guest Speaker Lt General John Campbell, USAF (Ret.) *****
Lt General John Campbell retired
from the US Air Force in 2003 after a 32-year career. In his last military assignment, he served as Deputy
Director of Operations, Joint Staff, the Pentagon; and Associate Director of
Central Intelligence, Central Intelligence Agency, Langley VA.
Prior
to his Washington assignments, he served around the world in a variety of
operational assignments as an F-15 and F-16 fighter pilot and commander. He
served in overseas assignments including in Saudi Arabia, Iceland, Germany and
Italy.
Lt
General John Campbell will speak to us on the story of evolution of the armed
Predator Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and how it saved American lives in the
Battle of Roberts Ridge.
